Linda Sue Kapfer Fromal

Mrs. Linda Sue Kapfer Fromal, 53, of Advance passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at her home. She was born in Lowville, NY on September 12, 1959 to Richard and Lucy Mealus Kapfer. Mrs. Fromal worked at Pinebrook Elementary School as a Kindergarten Teacher's Assistant for 17 years. She played the hand bells at Bethlehem United Methodist Church and enjoyed volunteering. In her spare time, she loved to garden and cook. Her specialties were homemade apple pie and tomato sauce made from home-grown tomatoes. She adored her family and friends and had a true passion for teaching. Her favorite place to relax and unwind during the summer was at ""camp"" in Sand Pond, NY. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 33 years, Don Fromal; a son Brian Fromal (27), an engineering graduate of North Carolina State University; a daughter, Kristen Fromal (25), a physician's assistant graduate of Duke University; her parents of Glenfield, NY; a twin brother, Lynn Kapfer and wife Laurie of Rotterdam, NY; a sister, Judy Ripp and husband Mike of Lyons Falls, NY; a brother Dennis Kapfer and wife Lynne of Norwich, CT; a niece Katie Larmouth and husband Ryan of Boston, MA; and a nephew Kevin Kapfer of Norwich, CT. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Monday, May 20, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Darren Crotts officiating.
