Linda Hauser

Mrs. Linda Tillman Hauser passed away suddenly on March 12, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. She was born on September 26, 1948 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to the late James Tillman and Christine Gardner Tillman. Linda was part of the first graduating class of Parkland High School. She worked at First Citizens Bank in Winston-Salem and Northwestern Bank in Clemmons for numerous year before co-owning and operating City Amusement Company for over 40 years. Linda was very dedicated to Reynolda Church, EPC and enjoyed a simple life after retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband B.G. Hauser; and sister Jo Ann Tillman Bruner. Linda is survived by step-daughter Deborah Hauser Lumley (David); two grandchildren Daniel and Devin Lumley; niece Cathy Bruner Fields (Richard) and their daughter Emerson; nephew Jon Bruner and his son Daulton; and a very special friend and dog, Sophie Mae. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Reynolda Church, EPC with Pastor Chris Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Reynolda Church, EPC.
