Linda enjoyed sports and was a die hard UVa Fan. She also loved being outside tending to her beautiful flower beds.
Linda was a great host and had a special way of making those around her feel loved and welcome – with her presence, her conversation, her smile and her homemade baked goods. She was also known for always having the best sweet tea, chips and dip.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Heath; her son, Bryan Heath; her brother, Gary Jones; sisters-in-law, Barbara Jones, Kathy Jones, and Joy Heath Bumgarner; brothers-in-law, Bill Bumgarner, and Ronnie Heath.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2026 at Sedge Garden United Methodist Church with Pastor Keith Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the Church Fellowship Hall following the burial.
