Linda Hill

Mrs. Linda Mae Kendrick Hill, 73, passed away February 12, 2018 at her home. She was born November 25, 1944 to the late Albert Royal Kendrick and Tessie Michalak Kendrick. She graduated from North Hampton Commercial College in Massachusetts. Linda was strong in her faith in God. She was a well-known substitute teacher in the Guilford County School System. Linda was a devoted homemaker and will always be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Albert Royal Kendrick, Jr. and Ronald Lowell Kendrick. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Eugene Hill; her daughter, Eva Duvall (Scott); her son, Russell Hill (Sharon); her six grandchildren, Kaila, Candace, Seth, Noah, Ethan and Rachel, and survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 2:00pm, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with a funeral service following at 2:00pm with Jim Holt, Carl Nelson, and Wanda Skilbred officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405. --- "50 Years and Still In Love" ---
