Linda Miller Norman

Linda Jean Miller Norman, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Friday, June 13, 2025. She was born in Surry County on June 22, 1947, to the late Kenneth and Opal Turner Miller. Linda will be remembered for the joy she shared with others. She had an immaculate sense of humor and could make anyone her friend. She enjoyed traveling, as well as collecting angel trinkets that she decorated her home in. She was a devout Christian and had a beautiful relationship with her Lord and Savior. Listening to Christian music and reading religious text was a staple in Linda’s life. More than anything, she loved her family. Linda met her loving husband, Clement, in high school. Although they spent years apart, the Lord guided them back into each other’s lives, and they went on to spend 30 wonderful years together. She was her grandchildren’s biggest fan, and adored spending time with them. She was kindhearted and caring and will be missed immensely by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her step-son, Brian Norman.

Surviving is her loving husband, Clement Norman; two sons, Greg Anderson and Joshua Shropshire; a step-daughter, Juli Lamberth (James); grandchildren, Tyler (Gracie), Maraya, Conner (Lilly), Anna Lamberth (Alex), and Jack Shropshire (mother, Lindsay); great-grandchild, Ivy Jones; a brother, Barry Miller (Rachel); as well as a special friend, Gloria Crafford.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel, 3950 Macy Grove Road, Kernersville, NC 27284. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM-1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WellCare Hospice at 146 Dornach Way, Advance, NC 27006.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the hospice nurses who assisted in the care of Linda and her family during these trying times, Carrie and Rene.
