Linda Howard Minor

ClemmonsLinda Howard Minor, 73, passed away Wednesday, May 08, 2013 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 3, 1939 in Davie County to the late Ray Charles and Evelyn Foster Howard. Mrs. Minor was a devout Christian and was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved pets and enjoyed cooking and gardening. Preceding her in death was her husband, Larry Minor. Surviving are two sons, Neil Minor and wife, Renee and Ronnie Minor and wife, Penny; three grandchildren, Ashley Cruz and husband, Jaime, Amanda Bolen and husband, Nathan, and Austin Minor; two great-grandchildren, Braxton Bolen and Abigail Cruz; also surviving is a sister, Sarah Hall and husband, Jim. A funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Mike Duffield officiating. Burial will follow at Clemmons First Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society, 61 Miller St. Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
