Linda March Peters

Ms. Linda March Peters, 84, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017, at Salemtowne Moravian Retirement Community. She was born in Davie County on November 19, 1932, to the late Jones Dewey March and Mary Anna Simpson March. Ms. Peters was a long time member of Bethania Moravian Church where she attended faithfully as long as her health permitted. She was a graduated of Salem College where she received a BA degree. Ms. Peters was a flight instructor for Piedmont Aviation and retired from US Airways in 1993. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Francis March Fulk and Rachel Winifred March Hemmings; and one brother, Jones Dewey March, Jr. Surviving are two sons, Mark Wilson Peters of Charlotte, North Carolina and Geoffrey Gordon Peters of Milton, Washington; one sister, Ruth March Long; and several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Bethania Moravian Church, 5545 Main St, Bethania, NC 27040. A graveside service was held at 4pm on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Bethania Moravian Graveyard.
