Linda Ray

Mrs. Linda Paulette Ray, 70, of East Bend passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her home.  She was born November 5, 1948 in Yadkin County, the daughter of the late Kenneth Andrew and Bessie Davis Russell.  She was a graduate of East Bend High School and worked for Western Electric for 18 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gray Russell.  Survivors include her husband, William Edward “Eddie” Ray of the home; two sisters, Magalene Shelton (J. C.) of Pfafftown and Libby Marlow (Norman) of East Bend; one niece, Linette Hyatt of East Bend; two nephews, Tim Shelton (Barbara) of Clemmons and Allen Gray Russell (Amy) of East Bend; and three sisters in law, Vickie Fleppin (Horace) of Westfield and Brenda Russell and Nancy Russell of East Bend.  A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM  at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek, Winston-Salem.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Parkinson Association of the Carolinas, 2101 Sardis Road North, Suite 102, Box 15, Charlotte, NC 28227.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
