Linda Sheppard

Linda Carol Johnson Sheppard, age 68, passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2018. Carol was born in Surry Co. on December 19, 1949 to the late Charlie Edgar "Ed" Johnson and Nellie Rae Anthony Greene. She was of the Baptist faith and a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in King, NC. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Kerry Sheppard; two daughters and sons-in-law, Chancie and Sport Badgett of Pilot Mountain and Casie and Josh East of Westfield; five grandchildren, Morgan East, Anderson Badgett, Lucas East, Pennson Badgett and Colby Badgett; a sister, Cathy Spears and a niece and nephew. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church in King with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Calvary Baptist Church on Friday from 6 - 8pm.
