Linda Lou Bowman Shutt

Mrs. Linda Lou Bowman Shutt, 84, of Winston-Salem, NC, entered into the more immediate presence of the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Mallard Ridge Assisted Living. 

Linda was born on March 13, 1939, to the late Joseph Wesley Bowman and Lelia Mae Morris Bowman in Forsyth County, NC. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Ray Shutt; and sister, Elizabeth Motsinger.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Rev. Dr. Tim (Karen) Sapp; daughter, Tonya LuRae Shutt; granddaughter, Kamryn Ellis; grandson, Ryan Blakley; great-grandson, Ian Christopher Ellis; sister, Shirley Wess; and several special nieces and nephews and friends.

The family wishes to express great appreciation to Mallard Ridge for their loving care of Linda for the past 3 years, and also to Hospice of Davidson County.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 11:00AM at Fulp Moravian Church Graveyard with Rev. Chuck Harmon officiating. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to Samaritan Ministries of Winston-Salem, 414 E Northwest Blvd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
