Lisa Burnette

Ms. Lisa Denise Burnette, 47, of Clemmons, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born on May 7, 1972 in Forsyth County to Jerry Burnette, Sr. and Patricia Simmons Burnette. Ms. Burnette loved all animals, especially cats and was a good-natured person. She enjoyed writing poetry. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Burnette and sister, Debbie Burnette. Surviving are her father, Jerry Burnette, Sr. and one brother, Jerry Burnette, Jr. A funeral service will be conducted at 4:30 PM on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Doug Klein officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 4:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
