Lisa Renee Spainhour

Ms. Lisa Renee Spainhour, 62, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born on August 31,1963, in Forsyth County, NC to the late James Worth Spainhour and Betty Jean Saylor Spainhour. Lisa enjoyed cooking, traveling to the beach, and spending time with her granddaughters. She was known for being a generous person that would give you the shirt off her back.

In addition to her parents, Lisa is preceded in death by her brother, Roy Spainhour. Lisa is survived by her daughter, Ashley Spainhour; two grandchildren, Saylor Montgomery and Luna Montgomery; two brothers, Randy Spainhour (Lois) and Ray Spainhour; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10am Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 325, Dobson, NC, 27017.
