Mr. Lloyd ""Dennis"" Chandler, 63, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at his home. He was born July 14, 1951 in Rockingham County to David and Margaret Yates Chandler. Mr. Chandler was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam on three different campaigns. Surviving are two sons, Brian Matthew Chandler and Benjamin Michael Chandler both of Lewisville; mother, Polly Chandler; two brothers, David O. Chandler, Jr. of Durham and Timothy D. Chandler (Misty) of Winston-Salem and a sister, Bonnie Sparrow (Bob) of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC with Pastor Tim Wolfe officiating.
