Lloyd Laramore

Mr. Lloyd Norman Laramore, 84, of Winston-Salem passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022. Lloyd was born to the late Paul T. Larimore and Ida Cline Larimore on October 5, 1938. He graduated in the class of 1957 from Walkertown High School. In some of his younger years he would like to spend the day playing eighteen holes of golf. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and loved to go camping with his wife, Louise. Lloyd was an avid country music fan and a lover of old westerns; you could often find him playing his guitar. He could never stay away from pintos and greens and could always be found with a snack in hand. In addition to his parents Lloyd was preceded in death by his loving wife of many years, Louise Laramore; brother, Paul Larimore; sisters, Ruth Larimore, Francis Larimore, Melrose Smith, Faye Woods, Doris Brown and three dear stepchildren. He is survived by his son, Vernon Honeycutt; grandchildren, Deborah Day, Melissa Cockerham, Tammy Honeycutt, Terry Honeycutt, Angela Honeycutt, Sabrina Honeycutt, Jason Honeycutt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 23, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Forsyth Memorial Park in the Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. John Bishop officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm before the service.
