Lloyd Scott Spaugh

Lloyd Scott Spaugh, 89, passed away on October 1, 2024, in Greensboro, NC.

He was born on March 18, 1935, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Arthur and Connie Spaugh. 

Lloyd worked for R. J. Reynolds for 29 years before retiring. He enjoyed farming on his family's tobacco farm. He also loved golf and spending time at the beach. 

In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy "Joann" Spaugh; daughter, Kathy Lynn Spaugh; sisters, Doris Sink and Faye Weavil; and brother, Arthur "Dub" Spaugh.

He is survived by his son, Steve (Jacklyn); grandchildren, Ali Hernandez, Lauren Hartle (Shawn), Emily Ann Thompson (Dylan), Rebecca Leigh Ward (Matt), Caroline Man Bridges (Brandon), John Christian Favors (Carmen), and Michael Gabriel Favors (Winnie); great-grandchildren, Christian Hartle, Rosemary Jane Favors, Roc Wayne Favors, Paxton Lee Ward, and Walker Lane Ward; and sister, Marie Sink (Clinton).

A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family.
