Lois Harper Conrad

Bettie ""Lois"" Harper Conrad was born August 16, 1935 to Bettie A. Bailey Harper and Eugene A. Harper in Forsyth County. Lois was an active member of Olivet Moravian Church for over 60 years where she served in the Choir, Band, Senior Friends, Women's Fellowship and was a Youth Leader for many years. Lois worked for the Forsyth County Finance Department for 18 years, but was most proud of her role as wife, mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by two brothers, Bruce E. Harper and Ted A. Harper. Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Robert A. Conrad; son, John F. Conrad (Donna); daughter, Amy C. Goodrich (Gary); 4 grandchildren with Zach (Heather) & Bethany Conrad, Adam & Bailey Goodrich; a brother, Perry W. Harper (Shirley) as well as a special sister-in-law, Shirley Harper of Lewisville. A funeral service will be held Sunday, January 12th at 2:00 pm at Olivet Moravian Church with Rev. Douglas Rights officiating. Interment will follow at the church graveyard. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following a graveside committal. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Choir Fund of Olivet Moravian Church, 2205 Olivet Church Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
