Mrs. Lois Scott ""Memaw"" Pike, age 88 beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 17, 2013. A native of Yadkin County (East Bend). She was born July 24, 1925 to John and Sarah Scott. Mrs. Pike was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Stanleyville. She retired from Sara Lee Hosiery after 40 years of service. In addition to her parents Mrs. Pike was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years James Pike. Two brothers, Herman Scott and Ulyus Scott and three sisters, Ethel Chapman, Elva Stallings and Lohr Scott. Mrs. Pike is survived by her children, Barbara Pike (Roger) of Winston-Salem, Keith Pike of King, Sharon Hayden and Wayne also of King. Five grandchildren, Charles Norman Jr., Cindy McFarland and husband Eric, Angel Chhan, Morgan, Jesse and Chloe Hayden. Great-grandchildren, Jalen and Syanne Chhan, Aleigha McFarland and a very special great grand-child. Funeral services for Mrs. Pike will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church of Stanleyville in Winston-Salem by Rev. Eddie Honeycutt and Pastor Arlan Faircloth. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Tuesday evening November 19th from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M.
