Loraine Stone Casper Burton

KERNERSVILLE - On April 1, 1931 Loraine Stone Casper Burton came into this world. As she walked through life, she touched many lives. Teaching Sunday School, working in junior church, visiting the sick, or helping with meals on wheels. She lived her life to help others. Her love for Christ always shining through. On November 6, 2013, Loraine quietly slipped home to be with the Lord. Today she is having a reunion with loved ones already there. Paul Casper, Leon Burton, her daughter Kay, stepson Ricky Burton and his wife Jane, granddaughter Jennifer, her sister Lillian, her mother and father, niece Betty, and many dear friends. Left with loving memories are her daughter, Patty Mielke (Bill), and step-daughter, Sandra Rose (Larry). ""Nana"" will always be in the hearts of her grandchildren, Heather Mielke (Sean), Hannah Mielke (Jarod), Alyssa Hutchens (Michael) and great grandson Dylon, sisters Irene Nelson, Virginia Grimes, and a brother, David Stone. Her steps on earth are complete, but her footprints will last forever. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
