Lorine "Lori" Rae Mock

Greensboro - Lorine Rae Vollink Mock, 71, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at her home. Lori was born on May 23, 1946 in Kent County Michigan to the late Ray and Laura Wilterdink Vollink. She was a member of West Market Street United Methodist Church and retired from Carlyle and Company- Greensboro, where she was Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst.

Lori was an avid reader, leading her to join a community book club. She also belonged to a knitting club and had a heart for animals, especially her cats. Lori loved life and was well traveled. She had an infectious smile that she shared with everyone. She was a great sister and aunt, who was loved by many.

Surviving are her step-mother, Peggy Vollink; three brothers, Dan Henry Vollink (wife, Kathy), Greg William Vollink (wife, Maria), and Timothy Jay Vollink (wife, Rhonda); one sister, Debra Jane Krenz; a niece, Laura Wright; nephews, Chris Vollink, Timothy Vollink Jr., Corey Vollink, Michael Vollink, Mark Vollink and Brandon Krenz; great nieces and nephews, Justice Blackman, Kayden Vollink, Hayley Vollink, Brindley Rae Vollink, Ethan Krenz, and Kaleab Wright.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at West Market Street United Methodist Church with Rev. Pam Strader officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Gathering Space.
