Lorna Hutchins

Mrs. Lorna Lee Painter Hutchins, 77, of Myrtle Beach, SC, formerly of Winston-Salem passed away Thursday, July 5, 2017 at the home of her son in Winston-Salem. She was born December 17, 1940 in Idaho, the daughter of the late Fred and Alice Bleisner Painter. Mrs. Hutchins was a member of Ardmore Baptist Church and was a graduate of Winston-Salem State University. She and her husband were the owners of Michael's Restaurant on 5th Street for a number of years. She was a longtime employee of Hanes and Sara Lee. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hutchins and her sister, Marilyn Painter. Survivors include one son, Stephen Hutchins and wife, Jaime; three grandsons, Keegan, Joseph Jaxson and Lincoln Ramsey; one brother, Daniel Painter and wife, Eileen; two sisters, Kristeen Cassis and husband, Michael and Freda Painter and husband, Jim; a brother-in-law, John Hutchins and wife, Brenda of Winston-Salem; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and loved ones.
