Lottie McBride Cobb
Mrs. Lottie McBride Cobb, 99 ½, passed away peacefully at her home Monday, February 11, 2013. Lottie was born September 20, 1913 to Robert H. and Ida S. McBride in Davidson County. She was a life-long homemaker and a long-time, active member of Salem Baptist Church. Lottie was preceded in death by her husband, James Herman Cobb. Survivors include a sister, Bernice Everhart; half-sisters, Frankie Wooten and Brenda Hietman; great niece, Shirley Hughes and her husband Harold of Winston-Salem; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, February 15, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. Howard Wilburn officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
