Louis Maurio, Jr.

KERNERSVILLE- Louis Maurio, Jr., 76, passed to The Lord Wednesday, February 19, 2014. He was born in Brooklyn, NY.

Mr. Maurio was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a huge Yankee Fan, loved to fish, crab and cook. Sunday family dinners were very important to him. Louis was very proud of all of his children and grandchildren for all of their many achievements. He was a member of the Pressroom Union in NY and enjoyed his printing career very much.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph Maurio and sister, Anna DiGiacomo.

Surviving are his two daughters, Theresa Maurio (Peter Gallucci) of Collierville, TN, June Lowe (Joseph) of Leavittsburg, OH; two sons, Louis Maurio, III (Marianne Cappel Fuentes) of Mastic, NY, Joe Maurio of Sayville, NY; grandchildren, Michaela, Derek, Tyler, Brianna, and Brandon; and one brother, Frank Maurio.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and the family asks that you always remember his great smile and joy of life, that he embraced so dearly. We love you Poppa. Love, Tyler XO
