Louise Beck Flanary

Mrs. Louise Beck Flanary, 82, passed away Friday January 30, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 25, 1943, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Alvin Beck and Kathleen Tolbert Beck. For twenty years, she worked alongside her husband at his business, M&S Mechanical, as a bookkeeper. Louise enjoyed bowling in a league with her daughter-in-law and working on puzzles. Louise was a high spirited but loving woman and who was always there to help people in despair. In her spare time, she enjoyed boating on the lake with her husband and being with her fur baby, Bebe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Eddie Flanary; two sons, Michael Eddie Flanary and David McKinley Flanary; two daughters, Valarie “Lynn” Flanary and Kathleen “Kathy” Karen Flanary; three brothers, Bruce Beck, Wayne Beck, and Lacy Beck; and one sister, Lois Watts. Louise is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brady O’Neil Flanary and Teresa Flanary; four grandchildren, Dustin C. Flanary (Megan), Bradley M. Flanary, Ashton W. Riccio (Michael) and Summer N. Rickles (Cody); five great-grandchildren, Sophia, Brooks, Evelyn, Kyle, and Coda; three brothers, Brady Beck, James Beck, and David Beck (Gail); and one sister, Patty Lambeth. A graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital.
