Louise Hampton

Louise S. Hampton of Clemmons died Sunday March 13, 2022 at The Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mrs. Hampton was born in Pearson, Georgia on November 7, 1928 to the late Daris and Lena Saunders. She was employed by R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. for thirty-six years retiring in 1990. She is preceded in death by her husband, E.R. “Dick” Hampton. She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Sullivan (Chris). She was a longtime member of Clemmons Moravian Church where for many years she assisted in the Sunday School Nursery. The greatest loves in her life were her family, reading, and children. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Clemmons Moravian Church with Rev. Christopher C. Thore and Rev. Ray Burke officiating. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clemmons Moravian Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
