Louise Long Pitts

Louise Ann Long Pitts passed away at Bermuda Commons on November 22, 2014. She was born on April 11, 1930 to Ollie Louise Fishel Long and Dewey Roscoe Long in Forsyth County. After graduating from City Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Louise worked as an R.N. at Oak Summit Nursing Center, retiring in 1998. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dalton Pitts, and four brothers, Edgar, James, Bill, and Cletus Long. Survivors include three sons, Charles Bryan Pitts, Robert Lee Pitts, and David Allan Pitts; as well as nine grandchildren; and one sister, Nancy Myers. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Advent Moravian Church with Rev. Tim Sapp officiating. Interment will follow in the church graveyard.
