LuAnne Hicks Bowling

Winston-Salem - LuAnne Hicks Bowling, 60, died Monday, January 18, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. LuAnne was born November 3, 1955 in Norwich, NY to Robert and Norma Fitch. She was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and devoted Christian who loved the Lord and her family. LuAnne was very kind, giving and selfless who had a special way of making those around her happy.
In addition to her parents, LuAnne was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerry, Darrell and Mike Hicks.
Surviving are her husband of 19 years, Vincent Bowling; two daughters, Staci Svenson and Shelley Gouvisis (husband, John); one son, Josh Binelli; one granddaughter, Payton Gouvisis; five sisters; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Johnny Walker. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
