Luis Alfredo Portillo

Mr. Luis Alfredo Portillo, 17, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2026. He was born on July 17, 2009, in Forsyth County, to Luis Alfredo Portillo Rivas and Brenda Esmerlda Arias. Luis attended school at North Forsyth High School. He enjoyed going to the gym and playing basketball, and was also a very good cook. He was a loving son and brother who will be missed by all who knew him. Luis was preceded in death by his uncle, Jose Atilio Portillo Rivas. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three siblings, Veronica Portillo, Roberto Portillo, Jessica Portillo. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Ana Lilian Ramos officiating. Burial will take place at Crestview Memorial Park following the service.

El Sr. Luis Alfredo Portillo, de 17 años, falleció el viernes 4 de septiembre de 2026. Nació el 17 de julio de 2009 en el condado de Forsyth, hijo de Luis Alfredo Portillo Rivas y Brenda Esmerlda Arias. Luis asistió a la escuela en North Forsyth High School. Le gustaba ir al gimnasio y jugar baloncesto. También era un muy buen cocinero. Fue un hijo y hermano cariñoso que será extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron. Luis fue precedido en la muerte por su tío, Jose Atilio Portillo Rivas. Además de sus padres, le sobreviven sus tres hermanos, Veronica Portillo, Roberto Portillo y Jessica Portillo. Se llevará a cabo un servicio funerario a las 11:00 a.m. el sábado 12 de septiembre de 2026, en la capilla Hayworth-Miller en Rural Hall, con Ana Lilian Ramos oficiante. El entierro se realizará en Crestview Memorial Park después del servicio.
