Lyda Hauser Duvall

WINSTON SALEM -- Mrs. Lyda Hauser Harrison Duvall, entered into eternal rest Thursday, February 13, 2014. She was 92. Mrs. Duvall was born February 8, 1922 in Forsyth County, a daughter of Glenn P. and Mollie Heath Hauser.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Duvall. Mrs. Duvall was a long time member of Union Grove Baptist Church and retired from Western Electric Co.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Harrison Caudle (Robert) and Ann Duvall Jones (Timmy); 4 grandchildren, Kim Triplett (Terry), Derek Caudle (Tammy), Alan Jones (Elsa), Wendi Fairchild (David); 7 great grandchildren and a special niece, Patsy Harrison Smith.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 16, 2014 at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at Union Grove Baptist Church officiated by the Reverend Paul Dean. The family will receive friends following the service in the church Arbor.
Memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, 5424 Union Grove Road, Oak Ridge, NC 27310. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
