Lynn Crawford Hester

Walkertown – Mrs. Lynn Crawford Hester, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Guilford County on November 22, 1938, to Charles Grayson and Nancy Troxler Crawford. Lynn was a faithful member of Oak Grove Moravian Church where she was a Sunday School teacher for 30 years. She played the saxophone in several bands with her husband, Delmore. Lynn enjoyed playing tennis and loved the beach. She retired from Womble Carlyle after many years of service as a computer trainer. Lynn loved to spend time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Delmore Ernest Hester and her sister, Patricia Barker.

She is survived by two daughters, Denise Neal (husband, Jon) and Leslie Hester; four grandchildren, Whitney Bradley Dias (husband, Marcelo), Victoria Patrick, Robert Bradley, and Kylynn Bakos; four great grandchildren, Owen and Mason Dias, Lukas Bodsford, and Greyson Bradley; and three nieces, Terri Hester, Kristie Anderson, and Melissa Richardson.
