Lynn Douglas Rothrock

Mr. Lynn Douglas Rothrock, 75, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born August 28, 1938 in Forsyth County to Reuben and Nancy Campbell Rothrock. Mr. Rothrock retired from Stroh's Brewery after 30 years of service and was a member of Cottage Street Church of Christ. He loved his family, his church family, bowling, coastal fishing and working crossword puzzles. He was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Almeda Bovender Rothrock; two daughters, Pamela Hunter (Randy) and Vicki Rothrock; three grandchildren, Stephanie Hunter, Lindsay Dellinger (Eric) and Josh Hunter; a great grandson, Ryan Dellinger; two brothers, Terry and Charles Rothrock and a sister, Doris Holder. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2013 at Boyers Chapel Church of Christ with Mr. James Percival officiating. There is no stated visitation, but anyone who would like to pay their respects to Mr. Rothrock may come by Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cottage Street Church of Christ, c/o James Percival, 255 Stickney Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27107.



Visitation:
There is no stated visitation, but anyone who would like to pay their respects to Mr. Rothrock may come by Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Sunday.
