Lynn Rachelle Walker

KERNERSVILLE – Lynn Rachelle Walker, 66, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Hinkle Hospice House. Lynn was born on May 7, 1958 in New York to Richard and Patricia Hayton Beam.

Lynn loved spending time with her family and loved being with her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also shared her love for children through her 17 year career with the WSFS School System. 

Lynn enjoyed crocheting, listening to music, and traveling to the beach and mountains.

In addition to her parents, Lynn was preceded in death by her son, Steven R. Salsman; and boyfriend, Mike Creel.

Surviving are her daughter, Jennifer Hill (Wayne); eight grandchildren, Michael Lashmit, Brittany Walker (Jacob), Tyler Lashmit, Zachary Hill (Kayla), Cameron Hill, Conner Salsman, Liberty Salsman, and Kensey Salsman; three great grandchildren, Braelynn Walker, Bentley Walker, and Emily Lashmit; six siblings, Lisa Beam (Kenny), Bonnie Robbins, Karen Blokzyl (Ralph), Linda Pounders, Laurie Odom (Chris) and Rick Beam; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and her loved canine companion, Levi.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 12:45 prior to the service at the funeral home.
