Madeline Epperson Fennel

Mrs. Madeline Epperson Fennel, 89, of Winston-Salem died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Salem Terrace Assisted Living. She was born November 3, 1926 in Patrick County, VA, the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Leah Hensley Epperson. Mrs. Fennel was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Hanes Hosiery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Fennel, Jr. She is survived by her son, Paul Fennel, her niece, Jennifer Fennel, and her nephew, Christopher Lewis all of Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
