Madeline Ann Cuccia Malone

Madeline Ann Cuccia Malone, 75, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in New York on December 9, 1941 to the late Joseph and Sophie Cuccia. Madeline retired from the Salvation Army. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many people in New York and North Carolina. Surviving is her husband, Jay Malone; three sons, Frank Burke (Lisa), William Burke (Diana), and Robert Burke; two step-sons, Michael Malone (Alexa) and Timothy Malone (Jane); 10 grandchildren, Brandon Burke, Skyler Burke, William Burke, Nicholas Burke, Samantha Burke, Nicolette Burke, Ashley Malone, James Malone, Zachary Malone, and Victoria Malone; also surviving is a sister, Janet Cullo (Joseph). A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Michael Buttner officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Dr. Greensboro, NC 27407.
