Maggie Reeves Larrymore

Mrs. Maggie Reeves Larrymore, 93, of Winston-Salem, passed into the loving arms of her Savior on October 31, 2016 at Tara Plantation of Carthage. Maggie was born on May 27, 1923 in Forsyth County to James Kelly Reeves and Annie Clinard Reeves. She graduated from Gray High School. Maggie enjoyed gardening and took pride in her colorful flowers. While her health permitted, she was active in a variety of ministries at Parkway Chapel where she gave of her time, talent, and treasure. Her selfless nature and servant's heart gave her a special quality that radiated to all who knew her. She was well-loved and will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Howard W. Larrymore; daughter, Linda Tate; and sister, Betty Branch. Maggie is survived by son, Ronald ""Steve"" Larrymore (Linda); two grandchildren, David Larrymore (Mylinh), and Heather Wallach (Jarrod); three great grandchildren; and a sister, Faye R. Morarity (Bill). A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Gary Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Health Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Rd., Pinehurst, NC 28374.
