Mrs. Mamie Wooters Thore, 81, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Brian Center. She was born February 18, 1929 in Forsyth County to John Cleveland and Myrtle Spillman Wooters. She was member of Linville Forest Church of Christ. Surviving are her sister, Florence Harrell of Winston-Salem; two nephews, Edward Harrell of Winston-Salem and Wesley Harrell of Fredericksburg, Va.; and a niece, Anne Medlin of Germanton. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, W-S, N.C. 27103 or to Linville Forest Church of Christ, 450 Linville Rd., Kernersville, N.C. 27284.
