Margaret Butt

Walkertown - Margaret Hendrick Butt, 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her residence. Mrs. Butt was born on May 11, 1936 in Bluewell, West Virginia to Ed and Mary Taylor Hendrick. She was a member of Baux Mountain Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by John Marvin, her loving husband of over 56 years, and a granddaughter Kimberly. Surviving are her son Eddie (Frances) Butt; daughter Marcella Cooke; three grandchildren - Elizabeth (Chris), Melinda (Scot), and Kevin (Emily); and four great-grandchildren - Madison, Jared, Carson, and Maya. A Graveside Service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.
