Margaret Jones

Mrs. Margaret Carolyn Jones, 81, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019. She was born March 4, 1938. Mrs. Jones retired from Royal Cake Company after 25 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Bill Canter; her husband, George E. Jones. Surviving are her five children, Richard Leftwich, Crystal Waugh (David), Mike Leftwich (Angie), Tonya Renfroe (Greg) and Dawn Gordon; six grandchildren, Jordan Waugh (Crystal) and Nicholas Waugh, Chad Leftwich (Alexis) and Jessi Leftwich, Terrin Rayburn (Miki) and Ryan Gordon of the home, who was very faithful in taking care of his Nana. Also surviving are her ten great grandchildren, Evan, Katelynn, Abriella, Laila, Myles, Wyatt, Brody, Abel, Rory and Lily. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Pastor Jason Holley officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
