Margaret Ray

Mrs. Margaret Faye Ray, 85, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Wake Forest Baptist Health. Mrs. Ray was born May 30, 1932 in Richmond County to Margaret Herring Smith and Everett Smith. She was a member of Enon Chapel and retired from Wake Forest Baptist Health. Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Ray, Sr. and a daughter, Margaret Renee Ray Taylor. Surviving are her three children, Lynette Ray of Winston-Salem, Donald E. Ray, II (Kathy) of Churchland and Keith Ray (Debra) of Concord; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Rev. Nancy Speaks and Leonard Speaks officiating. There is no stated visitation.
