Marian Ijames Arrington

Mrs. Marian Ijames Arrington, 72 passed away on March 20, 2009, with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Retiring from Western Electric and Truliant Credit Union, while still continuing to work part-time, her joys in life were her family, her children, grandchildren and shopping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Polly Hall. Surviving are husband; Albert Arrington, sons; Stephen (Vicky) Arrington, Tim (Reba) Arrington; grandchildren; TJ, Nicholus, Stephanie and Shannon Arrington, a sister, Jane (Eston) Betts and a brother, Alvin (Lena) Thomas. Her unconditional love was her special gift to us. We will cherish her always. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel from 7-9:00 pm on Monday March 23. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Forsyth Memorial Park, Winston-Salem. The Family requests that Memorials be sent to Hospice of W-S/Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. ""Thank You"" to special friends and family who were there for us during our time of need and sadness.
