Mrs. Marianne Louise Knaresborough Keslar, 69, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018, surrounded by her family and friends. Mrs. Keslar was born April 19, 1949 in Allegheny County, PA, to the late James Allen Knaresborough and Valeria Madeline Merkovsky Neff (Edwin). She was a caring and selfless mother, a loyal friend, and a devoted and loving Gaga. Mrs. Keslar worked for the University of Pittsburgh for 12 years and later spent her time volunteering in the NICU at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and taking care of her grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, Richard W. "Mooney" Keslar, and a special cousin, Marlene Flack. Surviving are three daughters, Amee Castevens (Anthony), Vicki Keslar (Ronnie Lee Jr.), and Teresa Blair (Ryan), four grandchildren, Caroline, Jordan, Julia, and Charlie, a brother, Jamie Knaresborough (Karen), a sister, Anita Connelly (Jim), and several special relatives, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted in her honor 10:00 AM Thursday, June 14, 2018 at River Oaks Community Church, officiated by Pastor Sonny Flowers. The family will also have a memorial service in Pittsburgh, PA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forsyth Medical Center Palliative Care Unit, 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
