Marie Cline

Marie Green Cline, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. 

Marie was born August 14, 1922, in Alleghany County, to the lateThomas Walter Green and Rachie Lou Hankins Green. She was a member of Central Tabernacle Church, and retired in 1991 from Sara Lee Corp with 22 years of service. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Milton Cline; one son, Darwin Cline; and three brothers, Walter Green Jr., Odell Tompkins, and Sherman Tompkins. 

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Reitzel Osborne (Priscilla) of North Wilkesboro, Kistler Osborne of Winston-Salem, and Christopher Cline of Winston-Salem; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gelene Hughes of Willow Spring, N.C. 

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2024, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Burial will follow at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
