Marie Maxie Harrison

Mrs. Marie Maxie Harrison, age 75, of Roanoke, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went to be with her Lord on May 3, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John T. Harrison; her son, Timothy Wayne Harrison; parents, Tommie and Leonard Maxie; one sister and six brothers.

She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Barry Thornhill of Kernersville, NC; Amy and J.R. Stacy of Roanoke; and one granddaughter, Ashlyn Harrison. She has one surviving brother, Jessie Maxie of Dublin, VA and many nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a beloved dog and grand dog, Bentley and Duncan.

A private service will be at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, VA on May 6, 2016. Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
