Marie Page Jones Hurst

Mrs. Marie Page Jones Hurst, 97, of Winston-Salem passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. Mrs. Hurst was born July 17, 1917 in Forsyth County to the late Carl E. and Margaret Holt Page. She at the time of her death was the oldest living member of Hope Moravian Church and spent her career in Retail, retiring from L. Roberts Clothing. Surviving to cherish her memory is her daughter; Nancy Lloyd of Winston-Salem, her son; Richard Jones and wife, Lynda of Winston-Salem, four grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a special friend, Peggy Isom. A Graveside Service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday October 6, 2014 in the Hope Moravian Church Graveyard, conducted by Rev. David Merritt and Rev. Andrew Heil. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice/Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The Family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at South Fork Assisted Living for the care given to Marie, while under their care.
