Marie 'Ga' Hayes Hyatt

Mrs. Marie Hayes Hyatt ""Ga"" ,83, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born October 30, 1929 in Lumberton, NC to Bernice Hayes, Sr and Lillian West Hayes. Mrs. Hyatt was a member of Ardmore Baptist Church since 1962. She loved to work with her flowers and most importantly, was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry L. Hyatt, Sr, a sister, Edith Comer, and a brother, Theron Hayes. Surviving are two daughters; Aletha H. Pardue and husband Randy of Huntsville, AL, and Gwenda H. .Beverly and Jerry Munn of Austin, TX, two sons; Henry L. Hyatt Jr. of Winton-Salem and Dennis Hyatt and wife Mary of King, four grandchildren; Aimee H. Hoyle and husband Jeff, Ian Hyatt, Zachary and Miranda Perdue, one great-grandson; Brian Hoyle, one sister; Doris Jackson of Suffolk , VA and one brother; Bernice Hayes of Newport News, VA. one sister-in-law, Patsy Hayes of Lumberton, NC.ife of 60 years, A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, April 22, 2013 at Ardmore Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Don Gordon and Rev. Christa Warise officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
