Marie Bielman Johanson

Mrs. Marie Kay Bielman Johanson, 84, died September 25, 2014. Marie was born on July 3, 1930 in New York to Peter and Katherine Starstrom Bielman. Her caring personality led her to enjoy volunteering at Cone Hospital for many years as long as her health allowed.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Holger Anton Johanson. She is survived by a son, Paul Johanson (Cherie); a daughter, Nancy Lance (Ben); 5 grandchildren, Benjamin, Heather, Wendy, Callie and Jordan; and 3 great grandchildren, Hadley, Andy and William.

Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family with a private graveside service.
