Marilynn Eileen Hester

Marilynn Eileen Helton Hester, 79, of Winston-Salem, passed away March 11, 2024, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

Mrs. Hester was born March 20, 1944, in Mecklenburg County, to James Arthur Helton and Eugene Blythe Helton. She greatly enjoyed gardening, country music, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Marilynn was preceded in death by her former husband, Clifton Lane Hester Jr., and her grandson, Joseph Lane Ritchie. 

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Craig Hester (Cheryll); her daughter, Debbie Lindley (Tim); and four grandsons, James Ritchie, Jonathan Ritchie, Noah Hester, and Seth Hester.
