Marion Herbert Craft

LEWISVILLE- Mr. Marion Herbert Craft, 88, passed away December 14, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born October 25, 1925 in Forsyth County to the late James Henry Craft, Sr. and Dora Mock Craft. He was a member of Lewisville United Methodist Church. Mr. Craft served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II. He was retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. He was a loyal blood donor with the American Red Cross and always had a special love for children. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Don, Clyde, and J. Henry. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Ailene Davis Craft; four children, Lynne Criner and husband David, Sandy Elliott, Michael Craft, and Phillip Craft; five grandchildren, Marsha, Chris, Matthew, Emily, and Ryan; a great-grandson, Jackson; a brother, Floyd Craft; two sisters, Nina McDuffie and Eunice Hudson. He is also survived by a special friend, Ronnie Beauchamp. A private funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or Lewisville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 305, Lewisville, NC 27023.
