Marion Willingham

With sad hearts we announce the passing of Marion Ambrose Willingham on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born June 16, 1928 in Orlando, Florida to the late Robert and Fannie Willingham. Preceding him in death was his wife of 60 years, Winnie Sikes Willingham; son, Charles P. Willingham; sister, Weda and three brothers, Herman, Roy, and Johnny.  He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Willingham Coleman and her husband, Dennis Keith Coleman of Lewisville; grandson, Jonathan Blake Willingham and his wife, Sara Tew Willingham of Clemmons; three great-grandsons, Landon, Eli, and Jaxon; also surviving are a sister, Vera Leigh of California and two brothers, Paul and his family and Donald both of Orlando, Fl.  He loved his time with his grandson, Jonathan.  Fishing, camping, and teaching him how to ride a bike, when he was younger and he loved talking about Jehovah God, the God of Comfort.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center for all the care and support given to Mr. Willingham.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
