Mark Dean Martin

Mr. Mark Dean Martin, 44, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 at his residence. He was born January 22, 1966 in Forsyth County to Jack and Harriet Shermer Martin. Mr. Martin was a member of AMVETS Post 777. He graduated from Parkland High School is 1985 and owned Mark Martin Gutters. He loved NASCAR. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Terry Lee Martin. Surviving are one daughter, Emily Rose Martin of Winston-Salem; one sister, Sharon Dellinger and husband Allen of Walnut Cove; one brother, Joe Martin and wife Barbara of Winston-Salem; several nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Teresa Smith of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Albertson officiating. Burial will follow in East Bend Baptist Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
