Mark Allen Weisner

Mark Allen Weisner, 38, of Winston Salem, North Carolina, passed away on September 22, 2026. He was born on May 20th, 1988, to Keith Weisner and Ann Hines in Davidson County, NC.

Mark was an incredibly hardworking man who believed in taking care of the people he loved. He was intelligent and quick-witted, with a natural sense of humor and an infectious smile that people remembered long after he left the room. Mark had a way of leaving an impression on the people who knew him, and beneath his strength was a man who cared deeply for his family. He loved in his own way, he worked hard, and his presence in the lives of those who knew and loved him will not be forgotten.

When Mark wasn't working, one of the places he was happiest was near the water with a fishing rod in his hand. He loved to fish and could happily spend hours doing it. It was something he truly enjoyed and a part of him that those who knew him well will always remember.

Like many, Mark faced struggles throughout his life and fought battles that were not always visible to those around him. Those struggles were only a part of his journey and could never erase the person beneath them or the love his family had for him. His family hopes that Mark will be remembered with compassion and grace, and that he has finally found the peace he deserves.

Mark will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Hines, and his grandparents, Clara Mae Ball Weisner and Clarence Odell Weisner.

Mark is survived by his son, David; his father, Keith; his siblings, Meredith, Megan, Zach, Matt, and Neil; as well as extended family and friends who loved him and will carry his memory with them.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Mark's memory are encouraged to make a memorial contribution to an organization supporting individuals and families affected by addiction and substance use.
